VERY EARLY DUCATI 916 WITH VERY LOW KM'S.
The Ducati 916 debuted in 1994 replacing the Ducati 888 and was powered by a liquid cooled 916cc Twin-cylinder, 90° L-type engine.
This bike is a 916 Monoposto (single seat) delivered new in Australia with only 7,300 Km. It is a red, MY1994, built at the Cagiva Motorcycles Factory in Varese around end of July 1994, and delivered to the Cagiva Trading Company the 31st August 1994. Engine and frame number match and are correct.
It's definitely one of the very first 916 produced at the Cagiva Varese factory; the amount of bikes produced is 65 bikes in 1994.
This has been confirmed by Ducati.
The current owner has owned since 2000 and we believe is the second owner.
The bike has been in storage for a number of years and was brought to us for recommissioning. It has been serviced by our Ducati trained technician and had everything that needed to be done , bringing the bike up to spec. Included were Tyres, Brakes, including new front and rear master cylinder and calliper seals, Clutch Master Cylinder, Cam Belts, Desmo Service, Fuel Pump, Regulator & Lines, fluids and other items.
Bike is in good clean condition for is age although cosmetically it shows some signs of the time in storage but is very original, with the Cagiva Elephants logos on various components, and being a used vehicle with low original Kilometres.
Comes with book, 2 keys and tool kit.
